Monday morning I had the need for MORE tomatoes. Ours were gone. Mister C and I had managed to eat through my pile of tomatoes from last week. The day was certainly autumnal. Overcast as well. There was the promise of sunshine.  This farm. So green. So many gnarly, huge trees. Quaint. I hope they didn’t mind me taking a few snapshots. Advertisement actually, don’t you think? The farm owner is very trusting, he allows us shoppers to use the honor system. He loves tomatoes, too. (He and I discussed that last week!)

The tranquility of an autumn day . . . the beauty of simple things. Yes, admittedly, I did purchase over 8 pounds of tomatoes . . . not such a bad addiction, that tomato one.

I left with tomatoes and pumpkins. The cash, of course, went into the box. But I also left with more. A gift that equals the deliciousness of the tomatoes. Its most difficult to describe actually. You would know I’m certain. Just ask me, I’ll give you to directions to the farm. You’ll see for yourself!

And later, yes, the sun DID decide to shine!
