Its hard for me to believe that I used to be able to triumphantly play this song on the huge pipe organ at my church where I was organist so many years ago. It is such a beautiful song. I sat down at my well-worn organ last evening, on Easter, after the house was quiet again. Hmmmm…besides my organ not working so well, I, too, wasn’t working so well! (I know, “practice makes perfect!”) I did have fun. It did make me Happy and feel Easter Significance in my heart. I’m just glad you didn’t have to listen to me! Ha!
I hope you had a glorious Easter and weekend, including some peeps! 🙂 Mine was busy and very well blessed.
It was filled with family love from beginning to end. It included visits to family with beautiful twin babies I had not yet met. It included lots of wiggling children with laughter and tears. It included chattering, visiting and good eating with family old and new-to-be. Easter Services, a grand Confirmation with celebration, and an Easter morning breakfast with my own dear family topped it off. Gifts, oh so many!!!
He is risen . . . Al – – le – lu – ia!
